QUA’s USD 10.2 Million Solar Power Plant Investment Commissioned

QUA has commissioned a 20.4 MWp Solar Power Plant (SPP) installed on the rooftop of its production facility located in the Aydın Söke Organized Industrial Zone. Brought to life with an investment of USD 10.2 million, the project is expected to prevent approximately 14,222 tons of carbon emissions annually, making a significant contribution to environmental sustainability.

Recognizing the fight against climate change as one of the fundamental pillars of environmental sustainability—alongside economic and social development—QUA has added a new milestone to its renewable energy investments. Completed in collaboration with T2D Renewable Energy Systems Industry and Trade Inc., the project involved the installation of 35,478 next-generation Topcon N-type solar panels across the facility’s 150,000 m² rooftop area.

With an installed capacity of 20.4 MWp, the power plant will meet a substantial portion of QUA’s energy needs through clean and renewable sources. Thanks to the commissioned SPP, QUA will reduce approximately 14,222 tons of carbon emissions annually, while also preventing the equivalent of cutting down 37,250 mature trees.

In line with its sustainability vision, QUA continues to implement environmentally friendly projects and expand its renewable energy investments.
